4 beds in 3 bedrooms / 1.5 bathrooms / Sleeps 6
Calm, quiet, and intentionally refreshed. One of the older homes on the property, the house feels new again after a full remodel, finished in a clean white-and-gray palette. Furnishings are simple and modern, with plenty of natural light and soft views of the pines throughout.
The sunroom looks out over the tree line—an easy place for slow mornings or winding down at night—while rocking chairs on the front porch invite you to sit and stay awhile. Tucked closest to the pine plantation and grazing cows, the house feels private and peaceful, blending modern farmhouse comfort with deep rural quiet.
As a working family farm, you may occasionally see tractors, hear farm equipment, or catch the scent of livestock—part of everyday life here.
If the cows are grazing nearby during your stay, feel free to enjoy them from a distance. Please avoid feeding the cows and do not touch the electric fence.
Self check-in keeps arrival flexible, and late arrivals are no problem. When available, we’re happy to offer complimentary early check-in so you can settle in sooner.
We’ll send clear instructions ahead of your stay, and there’s plenty of on-site parking.
We live nearby, so if anything feels off or you need help—or even just need to borrow something—we’re close by and happy to help.
We provide soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry pods, and dishwasher pods.
For coffee, you’ll find Solimo K-cups for the single-cup maker, along with Maxwell House coffee packs and filters for the full-size pot, plus sugar, stevia, and creamer.
And yes—the home is stocked with a starter supply of QUALITY toilet paper and paper towels, because that detail matters.
Gather your things, return the key, and be safe on your travels. We’ll take care of the rest.
No cleaning list, no chores—just an easy departure when you’re ready to head out. It’s our way of making sure the end of your stay feels as simple as the beginning.
The King Mary House is an early-1900s tenant home, smaller in scale and more intimate in character, shaped by the lives of those who lived and worked on the land.
Named for its earliest known residents, King and Mary Vinson, the home honors their role in caring for the surrounding farmland when it belonged to the Davis family.
Our family’s connection to the Vinsons is a personal one. Randy has fond memories of King and Mary, and we are honored to carry their legacy forward through the continued care of this home.
Thoughtfully restored, the King Mary House offers a quiet, grounded stay that reflects both the history of the land and the people who helped sustain it.
No add-ons, no surprise fees—just simple, transparent pricing so you can focus on your stay, not the math.
