Can we host a wedding or large celebration at Buffalo Woods?

Yes. Buffalo Woods offers outdoor tented gatherings for up to 100 guests. The homes provide comfortable overnight accommodations and getting-ready spaces, making the property ideal for intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, family celebrations, and other meaningful events.

What types of gatherings do you host?

We welcome a variety of meaningful gatherings including bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, family celebrations, corporate retreats, reunions, and intimate weddings.

Do gatherings require an overnight stay?

Indoor gatherings and tented outdoor celebrations require an overnight stay. For smaller daytime uses such as meetings, photo shoots, or creative work, a Private Day Pass may be available without an overnight stay.

Is Buffalo Woods reserved exclusively for our gathering?

Large gathering reservations include exclusive use of both farmhouses and the event spaces. For smaller gatherings, another group may be staying in the second farmhouse during your visit.

Can we tour Buffalo Woods before booking?

Guests planning an indoor gathering can explore our virtual tour of the King Mary House. Those considering a larger outdoor event are welcome to request an in-person property tour before reserving their date.

Can we choose our own vendors?

For larger outdoor gatherings, we require the use of our preferred tent and restroom vendors. For everything else, you're welcome to choose your own vendors or we'd be happy to recommend trusted local photographers, caterers, florists, hair and makeup artists, and more.

What is included with the gathering packages?

Inclusions depend on the type of gathering. Intimate indoor gatherings include use of the King Mary House gathering spaces with a qualifying overnight stay. The tented outdoor celebration package includes both farmhouses, three overnight stays, and outdoor gathering space for up to 100 guests. Tents, restrooms, catering, rentals, and other vendor services are arranged separately.

What happens after I reserve my date?

Once your date is reserved, we'll guide you through the next steps, connect you with trusted local vendors if needed, and help make planning your gathering as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

For weddings and larger celebrations, the open lawn provides plenty of room for a beautiful tented event while both homes serve as comfortable places to get ready and spend the weekend together.

$3,000 Gathering Package Includes
  • Private access to the property Friday at 3:00pm through Monday at 11:00am
  • Three-night stay in both farmhouses for up to 14 guests
  • Outdoor gathering space for up to 100 event guests

Outdoor gatherings require event insurance and the use of Buffalo Woods' preferred tent and restroom vendors. Catering, décor, rentals, entertainment, and other event services are arranged separately by the guest.
